What is your opinion on films that use religious topics, such as the Life of Brian and Borat?

No problem to me! I think the idea that some views have to be protected from criticism and ridicule because they are too precious is a poor one. I am perfectly prepared to be criticised and parodied for my views. If you can make a case I am prepared to modify my opinion. Every advance in knowledge is made by a hypothesis being offered, criticised and tested. Laughter is a great test! When a hypothesis fails a new one is advanced. That was good enough for Newton and Einstein's theory took Newton to a new level. If all knowledge worth having is advanced this way, why should religious knowledge (which isn't really knowledge anyway, just an opinion that cannot be substantiated) be any different?
